Biography
Rory Windrim completed medical school in Trinity College Dublin in 1985. After family practice in rural Newfoundland he undertook residency training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Memorial University, Newfoundland. Following residency he was staff obstetrician gynaecologist at the Grace hospital, St John's and Assistant Professor at Memorial University until 1995, during which time he completed a master's programme in Clinical Epidemiology.
Since finishing fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at the University of Toronto in 1997, Dr. Windrim has been staff perinatologist at Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto and is Professor of Obstetrics and Health Policy, Management and Evaluation. His main interests are in medical education, preterm birth and fetal diagnosis and therapy.
