Biography
Dr. Tsutomu Fukuwatari is a professor at Department of Nutrition, The University of Shiga Prefecture, Japan. He received his Ph. D. in applied life sciences from Kyoto University in 2002. He has been the faculty member of the University of Shiga Prefecture as an assistant professor (1997-2009), an associate professor (2009-2014) and a professor (2014-present). He was also a visiting scientist at Joslin Diabetes Center, Harvard University (1999), and a postdoctoral fellow at Maryland Psychiatric Research Center, University of Maryland School of Medicine (2004-2006).
