  The Assessment of Pupil Cycle Time in Patients with Glaucoma

  Purpose: To evaluate the value of pupil cycle time (PCT) measurements in patients with glaucoma. Material and Methods: 40 eyes of 40 patients having primary open angle glaucoma and 35 eyes of 35 healthy subjects were enrolled in this study. In unilateral cases the glaucomatous was studied and in bilateral cases the studied eye was determined randomly in both groups when both eyes were eligible. All patients underwent ophthalmologic examinations, including best corrected visual acuity (BCVA), slit-lamp biomicroscopy, Goldmann applanation tonometry, gonioscopy, visual field testing, PCT measurement and optical coherence tomography (OCT). Two groups were compared using the chi-squared test for categorical variables and with the independent t test for non-categorical parameters.
