He is the Affiliate Medical Director of AbbVie, which has been established as an independent pharmaceutical company on 2 January 2013. He has been the Affiliate Medical Director of Abbott Srl in Italy, until 2012, as he joined the newly established pharmaceutical company, AbbVie Srl, after its separation from Abbott Srl on 1 January 2013, maintaining the same role. He was also an In charge for the development of the antiviral compounds (antiretrovirals, antiherpetics, antihepatitics, antiinfluenza, topical corticosteroids) while working at Glaxo-Wellcome.
