Dr. U.S. Ekanem is a Senior Lecturer and researcher in the department of Community (Public) Health, University of Uyo, where she chaired the department. She also serves as an honorary Senior Consultant Community Physician in the Department of Community Health at University of Uyo Teaching Hospital. She has authored and co-authored about 17 publications on communicable diseases and health-related issues.
