Biography

Dr. Tareq A Wani is a Senior Researcher and completed his Ph.D. in the Department of Botany from the University of Kashmir, Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India. His broader areas of the research are conventional breeding experiments, reproductive biology, molecular cloning and Plant tissue culture. His is also interested in understanding the secondary metabolic pathway , elucidation and modulation with respect to different environmental factors. The overall aim is sustainable production of desired secondary metabolites using Important rate limiting pathway genes and their regulatory factors.
