Dr.William F. Owen, MD, was in private practice in internal medicine and HIV Medicine in San Francisco’s Mission and Castro Districts from October 1979 through December 2014. He was a physician at Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation from January 2015 through January 2017. He also served as an active staff member at CPMC and its component hospitals from 1979 through January 2017. He received both his undergraduate and medical degree from Temple University. His postgraduate training included a residency at Baystate Medical Center/Tufts University in Springfield, Massachusetts. He also completed a fellowship in emergency medicine at University of California, San Francisco.
