  Surgery is one of the cornerstones of the treatment of women with endometriosis. Video recording the surgical procedure is extremely important since it can help in the postoperative management of the patient, either with regard to the issue of infertility or pain. Moreover, it can help in the early diagnosis of postoperative complications, in the quality control of services that address deep endometriosis and in the education of new surgeons.
