Zoran MINIC received his Ph.D. degree in Plant Biology and Ecology at the Université de Paris 11, France, in 1998 and his Habilitation (HDR) in science at the Université de Paris 7, in 2004. He worked as a professional research associate at the Université de Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris, France), at the Institut National de la Recherche Agronomique (Versailles and Jouy en Josas, France) and at the University of Saskatchewan (Saskatoon, Canada). Currently, he is a Facility Manager at the Proteomics and Genomics Core Facility (PGCF), the University of Regina, Canada. His research is focused on the identification of mitochondrial phosphoproteins related to cancer, neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and many other neurological disorders. He is the author/co-author of more than 50 articles in academic journals, chapters of books and patents.
