Biography

Abhisek Shrestha, working as Technical officer in National Sugarcane Research Program under Nepal Agricultural Research Council since 2018. He has completed Masters in Agriculture in Agronomy Stream from Tribhuvan University. He has worked as Wild-Coalition Ambassadors 2018 from Nepal and remained as a founder secretary in Youth for Agriculture Development. He has keen interest in Agricultural research and community development.

  The plant epigenetics has been the contemporary topic of research and possible sources for obtaining the required traits for improvement of plant, genetic advancement and plant breeding. Generally, three different mechanisms are practiced to initiate and sustain epigenetic gene regulation. Different epigenetic concepts, mechanisms and their component, along with their relationship led to revolution in plants, resulting epigenetically controlled phenotype, and enabling their higher survivability and benefit to mankind.
