The Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada syndrome (VKH) is a bilateral, severe granulomatous uveitis associated with serous retinal detachment, papillary edema and extra-ocular manifestations. Uveitis in children accounts for 5 to 10% of all uveitis cases; the VKH is rarely described in the children population.
