Dr. Abhishek Singh is a professor in the Department of Anesthesia, Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences, Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. 
His study interests major in anesthesia, Research in Anesthesiology, Advances in Anesthesiology. In recent years, 
he has studied several studies including Advances in Anesthesia, epidemiology, and aesthetic Technology. Currently, Dr. Abhishek Singh is the author/editor/reviewer in several international journals. He published 05 articles in many journals and the articles are informative and got good citations.

  Checking the Patency of Nasogastric Tube: An Overlooked Practice

  Nasogastric tube insertion is a day-in-day-out procedure done by anesthesiologists during perioperative period and in critical care units. Checking the patency of NG tube is not considered a routine practice prior to its insertion unlike CVC, epidural catheters, etc. Though the medical devices are manufactured under strict vigilance, there is always the potential of them being defective or damaged at manufacturing, storing and transporting ends.
