One of the main environmental problems is the contamination of water by heavy metals. There are different methods for removing toxic metals from wastewater such as membrane filtration, electrochemical precipitation, photochemical oxidation, coagulation, fertilization, adsorption and ion exchange methods. Nevertheless, based on environmentally friendly, easy to operate and cost-effectiveness adsorption technique is very important as it compared to other technique according to different studies. The investigation and use of low-cost and eco-friendly adsorbents is better to avoid expensive methods of removing Pb (II), Co (II) and Fe (II) from aqueous solution. This study explores feasibility of using AC from WLH is an agricultural waste for removal of each metal ion from aqueous solution of industrial wastewater. AC was prepared from WLH with Furnace. The moisture content, ash content, v.. View More»
