He is research has focused on understanding the origin of gynecologic conditions that result in infertility, such as uterine fibroids, endometriosis, and premature ovarian failure, as well as the development of novel treatments. He has investigated the use of gene and stem cell therapy for these conditions and has studied the role of early-life exposure to environmental toxins among women of color.
