The practice of sports is and has been the cause of numerous injuries in various studies. The evidence that costs
amounted to AUD 265 million over a seven-year study in young people and adults. Particularly notable is the
substantial impact on professional sport, where losses over two seasons of the English football league have been
estimated at GBP 74.7 million. The impact on the well-being and health of the people affected is even more notable
