Senior Professor and Head Department of Aeronautical Engineering, Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science BSc (First Class, MSU, Baroda, India) – 1975 BTech (First Class with Distinction, MIT, Madras, India) – 1978 MTech (First Class with Distinction, IISc Bangalore) – 1980 PhD (University of Newcastle, Aus) - 1988. Worked at IIT, Kanpur from July 1988 to April 1989. Worked at National University of Singapore from April 1989-July2013. Since July2013, at School of Aeronautical Sciences, Hindustan University, Chennai. (July 2013-Oct 2018 as HEAD and Oct 2018 onwards as Dean of the Dept.)

  CFD Analysis of NACA 2421 Aerofoil at Several Angles of Attack

  In this paper NACA 2421 Aerofoil is analyzed at several angles of attack ranging from -200 to 200 and with the Reynolds number at 1.8 × 105 and the velocity are 20 m/s. The co-efficient of lift and drag are compared with the standard values in the literature. Variation of pressure co-efficient is plotted in the form of contour.
