Biography

Dr. Diriba Teshome is a professor in the Department of Anesthesia, College of Health Sciences, Debre Tabor University, Debre Tabor, Ethiopia. His study interests major on anesthesia, Pain Management, Health analysis. In recent years, he has studied several studies including Advances in Anesthesia,  Health analysist, and aesthetic Technology. Currently, Dr. Diriba Teshome is the author/editor/reviewer in several international journals.  He published 15 articles in many journals and the articles are informative and got good citations.

  Background: Propofol is a widely used drug for the induction of anesthesia and often causes severe, sharp, stinging, or burning pain on the injection that can be distressing to the patient. Premedication with opioids, lidocaine, slow injection, and using a large vein for injection has been tried to combat the problem though there is controversy.
