Dr. Truong obtained her doctoral degree in the Department of Molecular Genetics at the University of Toronto. Her doctoral degree focused on understanding the mechanisms of bacterial invasion of human cells and the underlying signaling pathways induced by bacterial toxins. Following this, Dr. Truong completed and graduated from the University of Toronto Clinical Chemistry Fellowship program. Throughout her career, Dr. Truong has published over 15 scientific papers, conference abstracts and case reports.
