In the present experimental study, we evaluated some tomato cultivars in greenhouse and field conditions in order to determine superior cultivars for yield and yield component traits. The experimental lay out adopted was the Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) which was replicated three (3) times. The combined analysis of variance showed significant (p<0.01 and p<0.05) variability among the genotypes, locations and genotype-location interactions (G × L) for almost all the traits. The relative performances of the genotypes differed with location. Among the genotypes evaluated, Mongal F1, Platinum F1, Nkansah HT, Wosowoso, Roma and Sumo F1 displayed superior performance for fruit yield across all locations... View More»
