    Disscussion on Prevalence of women with Chlamydia and Gonorrhea.

    Chlamydia Trachomatis (CT) and Neisseria gonorrhoea (GC) are common sexually transmitted infections with serious public health consequences in the United States. The most recent recommendations for screening, diagnosing, and treating CT and GC infections are presented, as well as emerging seasonal GC trends. Multidrug-resistant GC is a serious public health threat, a new antibiotic in development, and the most recent Centers for Disease Control and Prevention provider guidelines are discussed.
