Preterm birth, determinants factors and birth outcome at Hawassa University Comprehensive Specialized Hospital, Southern Ethiopia

Prematurity is one of the major contributors of neonatal mortality worldwide. Nevertheless, most developing countries including our country Ethiopia lack sufficient data on the burden of preterm birth and its associated outcomes, and hence this study is crucial in filling such gaps. Objectives: This study was aimed to determine the magnitude of preterm birth, birth outcomes and associated factors at a governmental hospital in southern Ethiopia.
