Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder (NMOSD) is a rare autoimmune disorder of the central nervous system that affects the optic nerve and spinal cord. It is associated with autoantibodies against Aquaporine-4 (AQP-4) and/or myelin oligodendrocytes glycoproteins.
