    The purpose of this study is to assess the effects of employee motivation on financial performance of hotel business projects in Rwanda. In the case study of hill-top hotel and country club. The specific objectives of the study were to identify the different types of employee motivation used by hill-top hotel and country club, to find out the contribution of employee motivation to the financial performance of hill-top hotel and country club, to determine the challenges facing employee motivation at hill-top hotel and country club. In the literature review, the researcher defined the terms used in the study and explained the specific objectives with reference to past authors.
