Roma Ethnic Tourism: Could it orks in Slovakia?

The study of the heritage of Roma culture offers a great wealth of resources for tourism development. Some
alternative tourism products include, for example, Roma festivals, theatre, music, painting, fashion, gastronomy, and
creative tourism. This would be particularly beneficial in the marginal and less-favored regions. Today, the Roma
ethnic group in Slovakia is more internally divided culturally, socially, and sub-ethnically than in the days of
socialism. The disintegration of the traditional Roma family has led to many negative effects and crisis phenomena.
