Dr. Justine Bukenya is a prominent public health expert and academic at Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda. With a career dedicated to advancing public health education, research, and practice, Dr. Bukenya is recognized as a leader in health systems strengthening and community-based health interventions in Uganda and across Africa. Dr. Bukenya’s research focuses on maternal and child health, infectious disease control, and the social determinants of health.
