Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS) is well-established as a safe and effective monitoring tool for stroke recovery, including upper limb, lower limb recovery, motor learning, cortical function recovery, cerebral hemodynamic changes, cerebral oxygenation, therapy, clinical researches and evaluation of the risk for stroke.
