Biography

Mahesh Thorat is an Associate professor in the department of laboratory science and biotechnology, Kaohsiung medical university, Taiwan, located in china.  His study interests major Pediatric Anesthesiology and Anaesthetics.  In recent years, he has studied several Anaesthesiology including Anaesthetics, Anesthesia.  Currently , Dr. Mahesh Thorat is the author/editors/reviewer in several international journals.  He published 10 articles in many journals and the articles are informative and got good citations.

  Cystic Hygroma: An Anesthesiologist Challenge

  Cystic hygroma is a lymphatic origin, benign variety of congenital lymphangioma presents with huge swellings at locations like cervico-facial region, below tongue, axilla, groin and mediastinum. Occasionally these swellings may appear in liver, spleen, kidney and intestine. Difficulty in feeding, respiratory distress, inspiratory stridor and cosmetic reasons are the indications of the complete surgical excision.
