Biography

Prof Mickaël Naassila is the head of the INSERM unit 1247, the research group on alcohol & pharmacodependences. He was the lead partner of the European project ALCOBINGE on the cognitive & emotional impact of binge drinking in young people and on the use of preclinical model to mimic this phenomenon in rodents to uncover neurobiological mechanisms underlying long term vulnerability to alcohol abuse. He was also the lead partner of a national grant from the ANR SENSIBALCO.
