Turbinaria ornata marine brown seaweed found along the coastal areas of Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, India was screened in vitro for antiviral activity against Herpes Simplex Virus-2.Two extracts one aqueous and the other ethanolic (95%) were screened for activity.
