Effect of Modified Bobath Cuff on Energy Expenditure and Fatigue during Level Surface Waking among Subjects with Hemiplegic Shoulder Subluxation: A Prospective Study

Background: This research study aims to find the effect of modified bobath cuff on energy expenditure and fatigue during
level surface walking among subjects with hemiplegic shoulder subluxation.
Objective: The objective of this study is to measure the amount of energy consumption during level surface walking among
hemiplegic subjects having shoulder subluxation with modified bobath cuff. The objective of this study is to measure the
fatigue of hemiplegic subjects having shoulder subluxation with modified bobath cuff.
Subjects and method: 30 subjects with shoulder subluxation were included in this study by a convenient sampling method.
The subjects were given with a modified bobath cuff. The cardiorespiratory parameters (VO2, VCO2, and energy expenditure)
