Biography

Prateeksha Sharma is a "peer-therapist", researcher, musicologist.She is the founder of Hansadhwani- mind.mood.music a research-led knowledge organization working on the intersections of mental health, psychology, education and music, creating diverse solutions for different demographics.Her Ph.D. was a study about recovery from serious mental illness (psychosis). As part of that she uncovered the reasons a majority of people do not recover from mental health issues, while some do, including from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Among other things she is working on a number of writing projects to share her findings with diverse stakeholders in mental health.

Orbital and Periorbital involvement of tuberculosis is rare even in endemic regions. It is a rare manifestation of extra pulmonary tuberculosis. We report a rare case of discharging Periorbital tuberculosis sinus with no systemic symptoms. Our report emphasises the importance of awareness and high clinical suspicion in cases of nonresolving orbital swellings and infections.
