  A Study of Latent Tuberculosis Infection and Its Influencing Factors in Diabetic Patients in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, China

  Objective: Diabetes meLlitus (DM) confers a higher risk for active Tuberculosis (TB). However, there is a paucity of information about the prevalence and risk factors of Latent Tuberculosis Infection (LTBI) in DM patients. Therefore, we aimed to analyze the prevalence and infection risk factors of LTBI in DM patients in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, China. Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional study to screen for TB in a random sample of DM patients included in basic public health management from 2019 to 2020 in two regional community health centers in the Nanshan District of Shenzhen, China.
