Artur Gennadievich Sirenko was born on January 17, 1965, in Snizhne, Donetsk region, Ukraine. He pursued his higher education at Taras Shevchenko Kyiv State University, where he studied from 1985 to 1990. At the Faculty of Biology, Department of Genetics, he earned a degree as a geneticist and qualified as a teacher of biology and chemistry. Currently, Dr. Sirenko serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Biology and Ecology at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine. His research primarily focuses on cytogenetics, with a particular interest in the mechanisms of genome instability in acute leukemia
