LEAD AND CADMIUM TOXIC EFFECTS ON HUMAN HEALTH, A REVIEW

Cadmium (Cd) and lead (Pb) are toxic heavy metals that have toxic health effects in humans. The accumulation of lead and cadmium in crops, as well as the potential of Pb and Cd entering the food chain, are important public health problems. The harmful health effects of Pb and Cd are discussed in this review. The harmful dietary strategies are for persons who are at risk of Cd and Pb consumption, based on these studies.
