Chemotherapy-Induced Alopecia: A Brief Review

Chemotherapy-Induced Alopecia (CIA) occurs in a large proportion of patients undergoing chemotherapy. This happens because hair bulb cells have a high proliferation, being very susceptible to the drugs used to fight cancer.
