Biography

Wei-Ta Fang asistant proffeser of Graduate Institute of Environmental Education Sustainability, Urban Development, Environmental Analysis, Professional Development at the National Taiwan Normal University, taiwan. He has post graduated with his PhD degree in nvironmental Education, vNational Taiwan Normal University, taiwan. Currently, I synthesize the literature and further analyzed data on Indigenous people in my study areas to: 1) identify gaps between Western scientific knowledge and traditional ecological knowledge (TEK).

  Sustainable tourism is regarded as an important alternative tourist system that seeks to ensure profitability as well as recreation quality and safety, while protecting the environment. Consumers’ expectations for ‘greener’ products and leisure seeking to gain a competitive advantage in the marketplace are also key drivers for sustainability. However, little is known about its relationships with the pro-environmental behavior of individuals and environmental practices of tourism, which can impact achieving the goals of sustainable tourism.
