    Detecting and Identifying Common Sexually Transmitted Diseases

    Infections spread by sexual activity, specifically vaginal intercourse, anal sex, and oral sex, are known as Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs). They are also known as Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) and the earlier term venereal disease. Because STIs generally do not cause symptoms at first, there is a danger of infection spreading to others. Vaginal discharge, penile discharge, ulcers on or around the genitals, and pelvic pain are all symptoms and indicators of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs). Infertility can be caused by some Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs). Chlamydia, gonorrhoea, and syphilis are examples of bacterial STIs. STIs that are transmitted virally include genital herpes, HIV/AIDS, and genital warts. Trichomoniasis is a parasitic STI.
