Dr. Yeji Fei is a prominent scholar and innovator in the field of analytical chemistry, serving as a professor at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). With a career dedicated to advancing analytical methodologies, Dr. Fei has made significant contributions to environmental monitoring, materials science, and biomedical analysis. Dr. Fei earned her B.Sc. in Chemistry from Nanjing University and completed her Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry at the University of Tokyo. Her doctoral research focused on developing novel nano-scale sensors for real-time environmental analysis, which received widespread recognition for its interdisciplinary applications. After completing postdoctoral research at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), Dr. Fei joined USTC in 2014. Her research encompasses a wide range of topics, including microfluidic systems, biosensors, and advanced spectroscopic techniques. She is particularly renowned for her pioneering work in integrating nanotechnology with analytical platforms to enhance sensitivity and specificity. Dr. Fei has authored over 100 peer-reviewed articles in high-impact journals, including Analytical Chemistry, Nano Letters, and ACS Sensors. She is also the editor of the widely acclaimed book Nano-Enabled Analytical Techniques: Principles and Applications. Her research has earned her numerous awards, including the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars and the Chinese Chemical Society’s Award for Excellence in Analytical Chemistry.
