Reliability and Validity of the Chinese Version of the Pittsburgh Fatigability Scale for the Older Adults

The aim of this study was to assess the validity and reliability of the Chinese version of Pittsburgh Fatigability Scale
(PFS) for community elderly. A cross-sectional design was conducted in a sample of 775. SPSS20.0 and AMOS22.0
software were used for statistical analysis. In the Development Sample and Validation Sample, confirmatory factor
analysis showed all 10 items loaded on two factors: social and physical activities. PFS Mental scores had strong
internal consistency, the Cronbach’s α of the overall scale was 0.90. Each item was positively correlated with the total
