Biography
Edward E. Manche, MD, is a Professor of Ophthalmology at Stanford University School of Medicine, USA. He is a refractive surgery expert and board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in procedures for the correction of nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism. Dr. Manche has performed over 28,000 laser vision correction procedures and is among the leading providers of LASIK in the U.S. as well as internationally. He lectures regularly on the subject of laser vision correction and serves as an investigator in FDA clinical trials aimed at identifying new refractive surgery technologies. Dr. Manche has received a number of awards due to his leadership in the areas of ophthalmology and laser vision correction.

Biography
Raul Martín is a registered optometrist (Spanish Council of Optometry and General Optical Council UK). He received Masters in visual sciences (MSc) and PhD from University of Valladolid, Spain. Presently he is a teacher of Optometry and Contact Lens in the School of Optometry (University of Valladolid) and is also the Head of the Optometry Research Group of the IOBA Eye Institute.
He had published 40 Spanish journal papers; 32 peer review papers; 5 books; 11 books chapters and more than 100 meeting presentations. He is reviewer of high impact journals (IOVS, Current Eye Research, CEO, Journal of Refractive Surgery, Ophthalmic and Physiological Optics, Journal of Optometry) and Editor in Chief of Optometry Reports (Ed. Pagepress, Italy).
