Biography

Dr Roganovic is the Full Professor of Pediatrics, School of Medicine Rijeka, and the Head of the Division of Hematology and Oncology, Department of Pediatrics, Clinical Hospital Centre Rijeka. At the national level, she contributed to the improvement of cure rate of children with cancer, and is interacting with regulatory bodies and parent groups. Dr Roganovic is a certified member of many national and international pediatric hematological and oncological societies. She is the author of more than 300 publications, abstracts and proceedings and several book chapters. She serves as a reviewer and editorial board member for number of journals. Dr Roganovic was named a Patients' Choice Award Winner for 2011 and 2015. She was awarded with the Annual City of Rijeka Prize for outstanding contribution to the lives of children with cancer and the humanization of hospital care, and with the University of Rijeka Foundation Award for the contrubution in biomedical and biotechnical sciences.

Carmen M Sarabia Cobo is full Professor in the Nursing Department, at University of Cantabria (Spain). She has completed her PhD at from Complutense University of Madrid (Spain), about Mild Cognitive Impairment and emotional processing. She is specialist in Neuropsychology, Aging and Dementia. She also has the following degrees: Nurse, Psychologist and Social and Cultural Anthropologist. Her research lines are Nursing of Aging. Dementia o neurodegenerative diseases. Skills and Competence through Coaching and Emotional Intelligence.

Biography

Cassandra Warner Frieson, DNP, MSN, NP-C, FNP-BC, is a doctorate-prepared advanced practice nurse with expertise in fall injury prevention and injurious falls in the elderly. She has nearly 20 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Frieson is board-certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (NP-C) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (FNP-BC) and received her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville College of Nursing in Huntsville, Alabama, USA. She has received recognition as a Worldwide Leader in Healthcare and VIP Woman of the Year 2015. Dr. Frieson is Founder and President of Fall Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation Center and serves as clinical manager at its community-based site. She has additional expertise in fall management and rehabilitation, mentorship, community relationship building, motivational leadership, organizational team building, and international public speaking. Dr. Frieson has professional involvement in the International Nurses Association and the National Association of Professional Women.
