Biography
Dr. Jinghong Chen, is currently Professor of Shanghai Key Laboratory of Psychotic disorders in Shanghai Mental Health Center of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine and Joint faculty in University of Texas Medical Branch in USA. Se is the author of many professional books and journal articles, including anxiety/depression, chronic pain, psychosocial behavioral and mood studies, Neuromodulation, neuropathic pain/ hyperalgesia and synaptic transmission. Dr. Chen is assistant Professor, University of Texas Medical Branch, Department of Internal Medicine, in Galveston, Texas. she investigate for the molecular and cellular mechanism behind Gut-Brain axis activation, Pain, motility and behavioral changes; Central Neuromodulation of Gastrointestinal Pain Reflexes; inflammatory pain-related plasticity and gender differences. She was Research scientist in Pharmacology Research of Pharmacy at UT, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center for anticancer drugs pharmacology study.

comorbidities of anxiety/depression and chronic pain, Cellular/molecular mechanisms underlying modulation of ion channels or glia in neuronal excitability, synaptic transmission, plasticity from inflammatory bowel disease or syndrome in Electrophysiology and neuropharmacology, Brain–Gastrointestinal Axis activation: Mechanisms regulating of Pain and anxiety, depression/psychological stress investigation from the molecular level to behavioral studies. Role of microRNA in inflammatory gastrointestinal processes, Gender differences in developing visceral hypersensitivity, spontaneous pain in psychosocial behavioral studies, Analgesics, anti-cancer drug and morphine addiction targets.
