Dr. Adrian is currently pursuing a PhD in Epidemiology and Public health at the Norwegian School of Veterinary Science (NVH) in collaboration with Norwegian veterinary institute, public health instituted in Oslo and the department of public health at the School of veterinary medicine Makerere University. He holds a Masters of food safety (MSF) from NVH and Bachelors of veterinary medicine from Makerere University, Kampala Uganda.
He has authored in the area of mycobacterial infections in the Uganda, and yet to in Ethiopia and Zambia in Bio Med Central (BMC) series, Tropical animal health and production research articles and a book chapter in Global view of HIV Infection book. He is a member of Nordic society for veterinary epidemiology (NOSOVE). Dr. Adrian is also serving as the president of the Uganda Norwegian institutions alumni (UNIA)
Epidemiology of infectious zoonotic diseases with special emphasis on Tuberculosis and infections due to Non-tuberculous mycobacteria in HIV/AIDS patients, the role played by farm animals in disseminating infections a case in point: the role played by swine in disseminating mycobacterial infections to humans, epidemiology of food borne infections and population dynamics with regards to susceptible groups and genetic predispositions, neglected zoonoses and Public health, Socioeconomics of zoonotic infections at the human-Environment-Livestock /Wildlife interface (HELI), certification of food products, food security, renewable energy.
