Dr Akinsomisoye Olumide Stephen is a Lecturer at the Department of Physiological Sciences, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile – Ife, Nigeria. He received his B.Sc. (Hons), M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Physiology from the University of Ibadan, Ibadan where he majored in Reproductive Endocrinology. He was awarded a Postgraduate Research Fellowship by the Third World Academy of Science in conjunction with the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (TWAS-CSIR) in 2008 which he undertook at the Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI), Lucknow, India. He has reviewed research articles for various journals and he is also a member of the Physiological Society of Nigeria (PSN) and the Society for Reproductive Biology and Comparative Endocrinology (SRBCE), India. He has also published widely in scholarly journals.
