Dr ALESSIA completed her Five-year Degree in Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology Course, University of Messina, voting 10/110 cum laude. Thesis in “Biological activity of eso-products by Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC27853 on mammalian cells” supervised by Prof. Salvatore P.P: Guglielmino.Followed by a Ph.D. in “Biology and Cellular Biotechnologies. Thesis in “Immunolocalization and genic expression of Metallothioneins and Heat Shock Proteins 70 in teleost Coris julis and in mussel Mytilus galloprovincialis” supervised by Prof. Salvatore Fasulo.She is at present a Research Fellow funded by Epitech Project University of Messina. She had a good research record in Biological and taxonomic investigation on copepods associated to brackish water invertebrates, with reference to reproductive strategies. She has contributions with University of Nordland, Norway. Prof. Jorge M. O.
