Biography

Alla B. Salmina (nee – Alla B. Egorova), M.D., Ph.D., Dr. Med. Sci., female, researcher in the area of Biochemistry, Pathophysiology, Neurochemistry, Molecular and Translational Medicine, graduated from the Krasnoyarsk State Medical University in 1992. Visiting Researcher at the Dept. of Biophysical Genetics, Kanazawa University Graduate School of Medicine (Japan, 1993-1994, 1997-1998), and at the Dept. of Biology, Biochemistry and Genetics, Torino University School of Medicine (Italy, 2000-2001).  Professor & Head of the Dept. of Biochemistry, Medical, Pharmaceutical and Toxicological Chemistry, Head of the Research Institute of Molecular Medicine and Pathobiochemistry, and Vice-Rector on Innovative Development and International Affairs, Krasnoyarsk State Medical University named after Professor V.F.Voino-Yasenetsky (Russia) (since 2002). Author of more than 130 papers published in Russian and international peer-reviewed journals. Recipient of the Gold Medal for Young Scientists given by the Russian Academy of Sciences (1999), and the Young Scientist Award of the Government of Russian Federation for Achievements in Science and Technology (2011)
