Alluru S. Reddi is Chief (Interim) of the Division of Nephrology & Hypertension at the University of Medicine and Dentistry-New Jersey Medical School, Newark Professor of Medicine. He has received a Ph.D. in Physiological Zoology from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, India in 1971, and an MD from Autonomous University of Cd. Juarez, Mexico, in 1979. He has received numerous awards, including the faculty of the year award. Invited speaker at national & International meetings. He was co-section editor of International Urology & Nephrology from 1997-2003. He is a reviewer for 37 journals and published 85 papers, 28 book chapters, 14 reviews, and 2 text books.
