Angela Cunha

Biography

Angela Cunha obtained her PhD in Biology in 2001 at the university of Aveiro, Portugal. She is currently an Assistant Professor of the Biology Department of the University of Aveiro and integrated member of the national associated laboratory CESAM (Centre for Environmental and Marine Studies). She is a lecturer in undergraduate and postgraduate courses in subjects related with general and applied microbiology, microbial ecology and genetics.

Research Interest

environmental and marine microbiology, microbial ecology, sediment microbiology and biogeochemistry, biotechnology of marine microbes and photodynamic disinfection and antifouling approaches.
