Prof Anindya Bagchi, has received his PhD in Molecular Genetics at Jawaharlal Nehru University during the period of 1995-2001 Currently, he is working as assistant professor in University of Minnesota. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as American Cancer Society Research Scholar, Masonic Scholar. His research has included Functional genetics copynumber gain of 8q24 in cancer.Based on this research and fellowship training he has received several awards and honors, such as: Distinguished Guest Speaker (student nominated), Graduate Student Symposium, Department of Molecular & Cellular Biology, Baylor College of Medicine, University of Texas, TX, USA and American Cancer Society Research Scholar Award, American Cancer Society, USA. He /she is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like. Member of Editorial board for Journal of Biological Methods and Member of Editorial board for Journal of Cancer Prevention and Current Research. He authored many research articles and books.
