Dr. Arnab Basu did his PhD from the University of Calcutta in 2000. After graduation he did his postdoctoral research on hepatitis C virus pathogenesis at Saint Louis University in St Louis, MO (2001—2005). He she has authored 35 research articles in peer reviewed publications. He is a member of American Society for Virology (ASV), American Society for Microbiology (ASM), and Society for Biomolecular Sciences, USA. He received several awards and fellowships. He is invited as reviewer for research grants. His current research focuses on molecular biology, immunology and pathogenesis of RNA virus and drug discovery.
